Hallo!

My name is Maciek Ostrowski and I am a certiffied IFMGA/IVBV/UIAGM Mountain Guide based in Poland. Climbing and skiing have always been a major part of my life – in many ways they shaped who I am. Thus, it is a privilege to be able to work in the mountains, guiding and sharing experience with my customers.

I will be happy to help you in choosing a goal that aligns with your aspirations and mountain experience. Whether you have a specific route in mind, want to climb your dream mountain or make a skitouring traverse, feel free to contact me and we can plan your trip together.

Why Choose and IFMGA Mountain Guide?

The IFMGA/IVBV/UIAGM certification is an internationally recognized guarantee of the highest safety standards. In many European countries – including France, Switzerland, Italy, and Slovakia – it is the only qualification that legally allows a guide to lead clients on high-mountain terrain.

Becoming an IFMGA Mountain Guide requires a demanding three-year training program conducted under the standards of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations. The training takes place in the Tatras and various regions of the Alps.

All technical skills, safety procedures, and client management competencies are rigorously tested through a multi-stage examination process to ensure the highest professional level.
