Skitouring in Tatras with an IFMGA Mountain Guide

Skituring in Tatras / Skitury w Tatrach

The Tatra Mountains offer incredible opportunities for skitouring, making them a prime destination for adventurers seeking stunning winter landscapes. With a mix of steep, challenging couloirs of High Tatras and big, gentle slopes in the western part, both experienced and novice skitourers can find something to enjoy.

As an IFMGA mountain guide I have an extensive knowledge about avalanche safety and different backcountry areas in Tatra Mountains. With my substantial experience I’m able to tailor the trip depending on the actual conditions, making it both safer nad fulfilling.

Here are some interesting skitouring trip propositions:

  • Popradské pleso – Váha – Pustá lávka – Východná Železná brána – Popradské pleso
  • Štrbské Pleso – Predné Solisko – Furkotská dolina – Bystré sedlo – Mlynická dolina – Štrbské Pleso
  • Látaná dolina – Zábrať – Rákoň – Dolina Chochołowska – Grześ – Látaná dolina
  • Murowaniec Hut – Przełęcz Zawrat – Dolina Pięciu Stawów Polskich – Szpiglasowa Przełęcz – Morskie Oko
  • Tatra Mountain Haute Route (traverese of the entire High Tatras including spending nights in mountain huts)
