Kurczab’s Route – Gerlachovský štít

If you want to conquer the highest peak of Carpathians and experience some climbing in one of the finest granite of Tatra Mountains, Kurczab’s Route will be the best choice. This route has it all: difficult crux at the beginning, beautiful slabs and dihedrals and climbing over several pointy towers near the very top to overcome. In Tatra scale it can be considered as a big wall climb (300 m of climbing + 200 m of ridge). The summit photo with the cross is a must have after climbing this route!
