Wildspitze is the second highest peak of Austria. Thanks to its closenes to the Pitztaler Gletscher Ski Resort, it can be reached during a single-day skitour. It can also be the main objective of the Ötztaler Alps traverse, which requires spending nights in picturesque mountain huts.
