Alpine 4000m Peaks
Dreaming of Mont Blanc? Or perhaps you’re inspired to collect all Alpine 4000-meter summits?
There are 82 peaks in the Alps exceeding 4,000 meters. Many of them are excellent objectives for those beginning their alpine journey with a certified IFMGA Guide.
Beyond the obvious classics such as Mont Blanc (4810 m) or Dufourspitze (4634 m), I can help you to reach a wide range of beautiful and accessible 4000ers, including:
- Allalinhorn, 4027 m n.p.m.
- Alphubel, 4206 m n.p.m.
- Weissmies, 4017 m n.p.m.
- Gran Paradiso, 4061 m n.p.m.
- Nadelhorn, 4327 m n.p.m.
A successful ascent of a 4000er usually requires proper acclimatization.
When organizing such trips, I typically dedicate 2–3 days to acclimatization combined with glacier travel training or a refresher, along with a night in a high-altitude mountain hut. This significantly increases the chances of a successful summit push.

Technical Alpinism with a Mountain Guide
If you already have solid mountain experience, move confidently in crampons, handle an ice axe efficiently, and have climbed at least a few alpine peaks, I can help you to take the next step towards more ambitious objectives.
Some of the most iconic alpine routes that you can climb with an IFMGA Mountain Guide as follows:
- Matterhorn via Hörnli Ridge
- Dent du Géant – North Ridge
- Weissmies via Rotgrat
- Eiger via Mittellegi Ridge
- Grossglockner via Stüdlgrat
- Mont Blanc via Innominata Ridge
- Arête du Diable, Mont Blanc du Tacul
These routes require good physical fitness and basic climbing skills, but with commitment and proper preparation under my guidance, they are accessible for most of people.
If you are interested in climbing any of these routes with an IFMGA Mountain Guide, feel free to get in touch.
