Alpine 4000m Peaks
Dreaming of Mont Blanc? Or perhaps you’re inspired to collect Alpine 4000-meter summits?
There are 82 peaks in the Alps exceeding 4,000 meters. Many of them are excellent objectives for those beginning their alpine journey with a certified IFMGA Guide.
Beyond obvious classics such as Mont Blanc (4810 m) or Dufourspitze (4634 m), I can guide you on peaks such as:
- Allalinhorn, 4027 m n.p.m.
- Alphubel, 4206 m n.p.m.
- Weissmies, 4017 m n.p.m.
- Gran Paradiso, 4061 m n.p.m.
- Nadelhorn, 4327 m n.p.m.
A successful ascent usually requires proper acclimatization.
I typically dedicate 2–3 days to acclimatization combined with glacier travel training and an overnight stay in a high mountain hut. This significantly increases the chances of a successful summit push.

Technical Alpinism with a Mountain Guide
If you already have solid alpine experience, move confidently in crampons, handle an ice axe efficiently, and have climbed several Alpine peaks, I can guide you on more ambitious objectives.
Classic technical routes that can be climbed with a mountain guide are as follows:
- Matterhorn via Hörnli Ridge
- Dent du Géant
- Weissmies via Rotgrat
- Eiger via Mittellegi Ridge
- Grossglockner via Stüdlgrat
- Mont Blanc via Innominata Ridge
- Arête du Diable, Mont Blanc du Tacul
These routes demand very good physical condition and basic technical climbing skills, but with commitment and preparation, they are accessible for most of people.
Let me know if you want to train under my supervision and climb any of them.
